Misha English

Trish Cole
Secretary
Trish has always loved animals, and started rescuing them at a very young age. She volunteered for Stop Pet Overpopulation Today (SPOT) in college when she realized spay/neuter could solve suffering from pet overpopulation. Post graduation, Trish worked for Wildlife Safari in the Education Department. She returned to Eugene to marry and start a family. Trish founded, owned and operated for over 30 years Suds Em Yourself. Trish has 2 children and 31 rescued animals including dogs, cats, cockatoo, miniature horses, goats, lama, pigs and chickens. She is a longtime SPOT Board member and joined the WAG board as well in 2025.
Maureen Keith
Director
Maureen started her career in pets cleaning cages at a local pet store at the age of 15 and went on to be a key account manager for a major pet product distributor for 37 years. She is a past president of Stop Pet Overpopulation Today (SPOT) and was also on the original WAG board of directors. She returned to the WAG board in 2024.
Maureen lives with a rescue German Shepherd and 3 cats.
Diane Weaver
Director
Diane has been an animal advocate most of her life, becoming a CVT in 1979. A long-time volunteer with Pro-Bone-O, she joined their board in 2011, and was board president for many years. She volunteered as a CVT at WAG for nearly a decade, and still volunteers at Shelter Animal Resource Alliance (S.A.R.A.). Diane has volunteered at many wildlife rehabilitation facilities, including Cascade Raptor Center. Diane lives on a “ranch” with many animals and a very tolerant husband.
Laurel Findlay
Director
Laurel was raised with all kinds of animals in California and Mexico. She spent her youth working in Alaska and traveling through Mexico and Central America. She walked all around New Zealand twice and cycled throughout Australia before moving to Eugene in 1988 to start an orchid business with her husband. She also worked as an equine veterinary assistant. She volunteered for many years with SPOT, Greenhill and Luvable Dog Rescue, but because she always came home with a new dog from those gigs, she started volunteering at WAG's new thrift store, Bella + Bear, instead. Now she just brings home inanimate objects! She lives with a very kind husband and 2 rescue dogs.
Cheryl Campbell
Director
Cheryl has lived in Eugene for 10 years and is a retired speech pathologist with the Anchorage School District. She has been a board member with Stop Pet Overpopulation Today (SPOT) since 2018, currently serving as president. Cheryl also helps manage a corgi Facebook page, Corgi Lovers of Eugene/Springfield. Joining the WAG board gives Cheryl the opportunity to advocate and champion the WAG mission to reduce suffering by providing financially accessible spay/neuter services. A very worthy mission close to her heart.
Cheryl lives with her husband Vernon and a very spoiled corgi, Sophie.
